First Annual UCPAP/WVAPA Fall Conference and 5K Event
Published by UCPAP Faculty and Staff,
The University of Charleston Physician Assistant Program (UCPAP), in association with the West Virginia Association of Physician Assistants (WVAPA), hosted the first annual Fall Conference and 5K race/run event on the University of Charleston campus this past Saturday. Students from the UCPAP Class of 2016 took on the tremendous task of organizing the event in support of National PA Week. The day started with a 5K race/run that morning where more than 50 people braved the cold and rainy weather to come out and support us. The race was followed by a CME conference that featured physician and physician assistant presenters speaking on a variety of primary care topics. The CME conference provided 8 hours of Category I CME for the participants. Overall, the event was a huge success and the UCPAP looks forward to providing further events and conferences in the future.
